Pure Trash

So much for my April poem project. I wasn't able to sustain that very well. Now, its time to return this blog to its main purpose: books. In my entry for April 2, point B was left forgotten-- perhaps fortuitously so. Unfortunately, I've remembered what I wanted to say about Atonement.

Point B: The drawn-out reading of Atonement forced me to abandon another project. That was--dumdumdum--- MARCH IS TRASHY BOOK MONTH. I was really looking forward to it as a relief after finishing a stressful application-thing.

Obviously, that didn't happen. However, I have revived that plan. Is this a good idea? probably not. But I've already read one book. It was fun but I felt a bit dirty afterwards. Now, I must carry on though, because I've just found out that one book I was hoping to read, Angela Bowie's Backstage Passes will be featured by a professional writer who has embarked on a similar project. We can read them concurrently. It's like fate!
So I am proud to announce that Mid-April to Mid-May is Trashy Book Month!
