APRIL

So, you may have noticed that there has been a rapid slowdown in my reading pace. How will I ever meet the 100ish book in 2008 challenge? I blame one thing: ATONEMENT. It nearly became the Tristram Shandy of 2008. But I conquered. I also have a lot of random comments about that book, but instead of letting it bog me down , I will move on and maybe return to Atonement thoughts later in the month. New month, fresh book log start.
A few other thoughts loosely inspired by Atonement:
A-- The Confused Disclaimer Directed Towards Imagined Incredibly Thin-Skinned Author
I am reading more books by living authors than I expected, so a disclaimer follows. Sometimes I write critical things about books. This blog shouldn't be on Google, but possibly internet-savvy authors could find it-- Whatever I write probably isn't personal. Unless I put your book in the Sunday at the Pool in Kigali Hall of Shame. Criticizing is just a way of engaging with art, and hey Random Internet Searching Author, you've created art!
B-- I forget what this was. Will edit if I remember.

Now the point of this post. It is April. We know what April means. It is National Poetry Month. Now time to vote! Probable one person who reads my blog: Should I post poems for the month April?
